- For the shrimp stir fry sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce(low sodium)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar(substitute with honey)
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar(use any mild white vinegar)
- 1 teaspoon of hot sauce(add more if needed)
- 1 tablespoon of hot sauce

- 500g of cleaned and deveined shrimp
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 1 teaspoon of minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon of garlic
- 1 large bell pepper, sliced thin
- 1 medium-sized carrot sliced into thin sticks
- 100g of cabbage sliced into thin wedges
- Salt as needed
- Pepper as needed
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds for garnish

Prep work.
- Clean, devein and remove the shell of the shrimp. Pat dry and set aside.
- If you are using frozen shrimp, let the shrimp thaw and pat dry.
- Mince the ginger and garlic.
- Prepare the vegetables. cut the bell pepper, carrot and cabbage to the required size and set aside.
Prepare the stir-fry sauce.
- To a medium-sized mixing bowl, add water, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, hot sauce and cornstarch.
- Combine well until sugar and cornstarch is dissolved.
- Set aside.
Cook the shrimp.
- Place a skillet over low-medium heat.
- Pour in a tablespoon of oil. add the shrimp in a single layer.
- Cook each side of the shrimp for 2 minutes.
- Place the cooked shrimp on a plate and let them cool.
