Ingredients
- 2 cans (6 oz each) tuna in water, drained
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- A teaspoon of lime or lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup of chopped celery
- 1 medium sized of chopped onions
- 1 cup of finely sliced cucumber
- Fresh and dry lettuce leaves
- 1/4 cup butter
- 8 slices bread
Instructions
Prep work.
Wash and slice the cucumber thin and pat dry with kitchen paper towels and set aside.
Wash the fresh lettuce leaves, leave it to drain all excess water and pat dry the paper with some kitchen paper towel to dry.
Preparing the tuna salad mixture.
Into a mixing bowl, add the drained tuna, mayonnaise, lime juice, chopped celery, and chopped onions.
Combine well to incorporate all ingredients.
Season with salt and pepper.

Preparing the bread.
Lightly toast the bread on both sides over low-medium heat.
