- For the Shrimp Marinade & Cooking:
- 500g of frozen shrimp thawed
- 1 tablespoons of minced garlic(2 cloves)
- 1 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 to 2 tablespoons of oil
- Salt to season
- Pepper to season
- Filling for the wrap
- 2 cucumbers chopped
- 1 large tomato deseeded and chopped
- 1 medium sized onion chopped
- To assemble the shrimp wrap.
- 5 to 7 large lettuce(romaine , butter or iceberg lettuce)
- 3 to 4 tablespoons of BBQ sauce or a sauce of your choice

Prep work
- Defrost and pat dry the frozen shrimp and set aside.
- Chop the cucumbers, tomatoes and onions.
- Wash, drain and dry the salad leaves.
Marinate the shrimp.
In a bowl, add soy sauce, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, salt and pepper to season. combine well.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and mix well. cover and let the shrimp marinate for 10 to 20 minutes.
Cooking the shrimp.
Place a skillet over low medium heat and pour in the oil.
Add the marinated shrimp to the pan with any remaining marinade. place them in a single layer.
Cook each side for 2 to 3 minutes. once they turn pink, transfer them to a plate to cool.
Preparing the salad.
Into a separate bowl, add the chopped cucumber, tomatoes and onions.
Combine well.
Assemble the shrimp wrap.
Place the lettuce on a plate. add 1 or 2 spoons of the salad to the middle of the salad lead.
Avoid adding too much of the salad.
Add 3 to 5 cooked shrimp on top of the salad.
Drizzle some of the sauce over the shrimp.
Serve immediately.
